Today we were called out to a property in London where a customer had attempted to fit their own carpet – and unfortunately, things didn’t go quite to plan.
They’d cut the carpet too short in several areas, leaving gaps of up to an inch between the edge of the carpet and the wall. Understandably, they were frustrated and thought they’d have no choice but to replace the entire carpet. But thankfully, they contacted The Carpet Repair Guys before doing anything drastic.
Using our industry-leading power stretcher, we were able to carefully refit and realign the carpet across the room. Power stretchers are the most effective tools on the market when it comes to professional carpet restretching. They allow us to apply strong, even tension across the carpet, pulling it tight to the grippers and bringing it flush to the wall.
