The Carpet Repair Guys Go International – Live Stream with Josh from California, USA
Last night we went live across the Atlantic! I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a live stream with Josh – the Carpet Repair Guy – from California, USA, and what an incredible hour it was. Two carpet repair professionals, from two different continents, getting together to talk about the craft we both love.
For anyone who missed it, the live stream covered a wide range of topics — from essential tools and repair techniques to some of the more unusual and funny jobs we’ve both come across over the years. It was a brilliant conversation that really highlighted how similar the challenges are, whether you’re repairing carpets in Kent, London, or California.

There’s an incredible amount of talent and experience out there, and it’s amazing to connect with like-minded professionals from around the world who share the same passion for the craft. I’ve always believed that sharing knowledge helps raise standards across the whole industry — and this chat really reinforced that.
